Petron Corporation (PCOR) officially listed its Series 4A, 4B, and 4C preferred shares through a bell ringing ceremony at the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) on Friday, July 7, 2023. PCOR raised Php 14 billion from the sale of firm offer shares and over-allotment shares during its follow-on offering (FOO).
“It is auspicious that we are starting the second half of 2023 with the listing of Petron’s FOO preferred shares. Hopefully, it will send a positive signal to other companies that it’s a good time to raise capital again in the equity market,” said PSE President and CEO Ramon S. Monzon in his welcome remarks.
Mr. Monzon also congratulated PCOR on the company’s upcoming 90th anniversary. “For nine decades now, Petron has helped fuel the country’s economy through its wide network of service stations across the archipelago and through the operations of the country’s only operating refinery.”
